Dear Friends & Colleagues,

Since 2005, we have been honored to have been able to serve you as PA Pool Service, LLC. Our success was in all ways due to your loyalty and trust in us. Unfortunately, due to some ill-fated management decisions made in 2011 and 2013, we are no longer able to serve you. It is with deep sorrow that we bring this news, as serving you has been the purpose of our lives and livelihood for quite some time. Many of you we had served since the early 90's in one company or another.

We cannot express in a paragraph or two what has taken place. Many of you already know. In a world where trust is paramount, we expected that a business deal we made would be not only beneficial to our customers, but an opportunity to improve on what was already a very good service. Unfortunately, we trusted the fate of our venture to some people with seemingly warm reception, only to find out later that it was merely a scheme to take many decades of hard work and education and, as was recently stated in court "eliminate competition."

There is a silver lining to this cloud. It is temporary. We will return to service as we once were. In the mean time, we are caught up in unfortunate legal issues. This should come as no surprise since the deal to merge with Barber's Chemicals in 2011 was not intended by them as a merger at all, it they eliminate competition. It should come as no surprise, then, that what happened after that competition was eliminated - was of no consequence or meaning to Barber's.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Had we believed on any level that this would have, in the end, harmed our customers, we would have never let the deal take place. It was actually a deal made on a very personal level for reasons that were intended to repair family relationships. One thing we have learned through this - which is a lesson that seems to keep repeating itself on many levels - you can't change other people. You can't change their motives. You can't change their hearts. You can only change yourself. To say this has made us rethink some strategies would be an understatement. We will be back - and it will be better than ever.

There are some legal documents, as well as some articles the local paper chose to write up - that we think you might find of value. We will keep this page posted with new developments so that you can keep up with our progress.

In the mean time, let us repeat that it has been our sincere pleasure to be able to serve you. It cannot be overstated how your loyalty, words of encouragement during this difficult time for us, and general overall support have served not only to inspire us and keep our spirits up, but to move on and fight the good fight.

   Thank you all.
